The Miami Gardens Elementary School Faculty and Staff welcome you to the 2006 - 2007 School Year. We look forward to providing our children with a well-planned instructional program designed to improve student performance. In order to achieve our goal of academic excellence; we enthusiastically anticipate the support, active involvement and cooperation of all stakeholders.
During the 2005 - 2006 School Year, we worked extremely hard which resulted in numerous academic gains in the area of reading. We are determined to work harder and smarter to make improvements in all academic areas. We feel that the school's theme of "Aim for Excellence - Accept No Less than the Best!" most accurately supports our vision for our school. In this prusuit of excellence; we will provide a learning environment that rigorously challenges our students. Additionally, we will promote activities and programs that offer opportunities for positive social and emotional growth. We must insure that we provide an environment that encourages our students to become a "community of learners". We strongly solicit the commitment of all parents to take an active role in this shared responsibility. A positive home-school partnership is essential for the success of our students and our school.
